Unlike some publishing arrangements that require authors to surrender long-term rights or publishing control, our collaborative publishing model is designed to keep ownership where it belongs — with the author.

What This Means

Authors retain:

• Full copyright ownership of their manuscript
• Ownership of their intellectual property and ideas
• The ability to use their content in speeches, training, coaching, podcasts, courses, and marketing materials
• The freedom to purchase author copies at cost for events, recruiting, or promotions
• The ability to continue building their personal brand around the book
• Access to their final manuscript and publishing assets

Depending on the publishing agreement selected, authors may also retain the ability to:

• Republish future editions
• Translate the book into other languages
• Create audiobook versions
• Adapt content into companion materials or workbooks
• Transition distribution in the future if desired

Authors receive professional guidance throughout the development process, including editing, design, publishing support, and marketing resources. This model allows authors to bring an important message to market efficiently while retaining ownership of their work.

Traditional Publishing Opportunities

From time to time, Kindness Publishing selectively enters into traditional publishing agreements with authors whose platform, expertise, audience, or manuscript align closely with our mission.

Under these arrangements, Kindness Publishing may assume a larger portion of the development and publishing investment.

Because these opportunities are limited, traditional publishing partnerships are offered by invitation or through selective review.

We are particularly interested in books focusing on:
